On The Road Again

We had a really nice summer in the Northwest.  We enjoyed spending time with family and friends and visiting places in the NW we haven't been to before.  We finally got to the Pacific coast and went to the Olympics and the Rain Forest.  We also went on an Alaskan Cruise.  So it was a busy four months.

Now we are on the road again.  We are on our way to Goshen, Indiana to attend an Escapees Escapade...a RV Rally.  We will be representing our local Chapter at the Rally.  Should be a fun time.  We plan to be traveling for the next three months.  Weather permitting we will be returning to Washington for Christmas.  We will leave again the middle of January for Arizona.

We left Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, WA on 30 August. We have seen some interesting sights on our drive across Interstate 90.  We stopped in Rapid City, South Dakota for 2 days staying at the Ellsworth AFB FamCamp.  The main camp was full so we went into the overflow area with 9 other RV's.  We had a good view of the flight line and the B-1 Bombers.  Since it was a holiday weekend they weren't flying.

View from our window.

There are a couple deer in the tall grass
