Wall, South Dakota and the Badlands National Park

Today we rode out to the Badlands National Park. On the way we stopped at Wall, South Dakota to visit Wall Drug Store, The Wall Drug Store opened in 1931 as a small pharmacy offering Free Ice Water to thirsty travelers. It has grown into a 76,000 square-foot tourist attraction. There are several stores, fresh made donuts, a 520 seat restaurant that still sells a cup of 5 cent coffee, free ice water and lots of old photos, paintings and kid friendly spots.

After lunch at Wall Drug Store we drove out to the Badlands National Park.  We drove the Badlands Loop Road and the scenery was beautiful.
